Arctic tundra

• found in the Northern Hemisphere

•animals such as caribou, polar bear, musk ox, wolf and wolverine live there

•plants like arctic moss, arctic willow and bearberry grow there

•has a dry and cold climate the air temperature can be as low as -60˚C

 
Alpine tundra

•found in mountain regions

•animals such as pika and ptarmigans live there

•plants like shrubs, grasses and grass-like plants and forbs grow there


•summer temperature range between -12˚C to 10˚C
