Sze Ying (Difference between tundra and tropical forest)

The tundra is located at the top of the world, near the North Pole. It is extremely cold. Sometimes, the temperature can go as low as -70°C. Some of the plants that live in the tundra are cotton grass, cushion plants and many others. The animals that live in the tundra must adapt the weather there to survive. Some of the mammals are the arctic fox, polar bear, musk ox and many more. Some of the birds are snowy owl, tundra swan, snow bunting and many more.

The average temperature in the tropical forest is 20-25° C. Some of the plants that live in tropical forest are orchids, ferns, mosses and many more. The animals that live in the tropical forest include birds, bats, small mammals and insects.
