Differences between forest and tundra(melissa)

Tundra and forest are different from each other.Tundra is located on earth's pole, which receive little sunlight, making it very, very cold. Not many plants can grow there because of the permafrost that prevents root system. However, the forest receive direct and constant sunlight, which evaporates large amounts of water into the atmosphere only to drop back down again.Though forests only cover 3% of the earth,it is filled with over half of the world species-the most diverse biome in the world.
