How is the tundra different from the tropical forest? (Shean Shing)
Tundra and Tropical forest are almost difference base on their charactheristics. Tundra is located on the Earth's poles, which receive little sunlight, making it's climate extremely cold. Not much vegatation can survive pemanently there because of the permafrost that prevents the root system to work properly,as well as the winds that clear miles of open land. In contrast, the tropical forest direct and constant sunlight, which evaporates large amount of water into atmosphere to drop back down to earth once again. Though tropical forests only occupy 3% of Earth's land, it contains over half of the world's species as if the most diverse biome in the world.
