Differences between Forests and Tundra
Forests are the warmest in all biomes while Tundra is the coldest in all biomes. Forests have many different tree species while Tundra has a few or no trees at all. Forests are home to many animal and plant species, and biomass per unit area is high compared to other vegetation communities, while Tundra has frost-molded landscapes, extremely low temperatures, little precipitation, poor nutrients, and short growing seasons.
